This website was developed to deliver further Light in Freemasonry. While the origin dates of Freemasonry in Europe are unclear, for more than two hundred years Freemasonry has been documented as an integral and vital part of the American society, culture and history. This site is important to Phoenixmasons (e-Masons) and the general public, because it is a well-kept repository of our treasured Masonic heritage and humble origins. Our Mission Statement fills many roles. One goal, in the global world of the Internet, is to exhibit Masonic documents, lectures, and objects in a rich historical context that both educates and stimulates the traveler to continue and learn. We hope to bring the past back to life; and incite a passion for learning.
Freemason Information is a Masonic web magazine for both Freemasons and those interested in the fraternity of Freemasonry.
This websites principal aim is to provide a means to discuss, editorialize, and provide commentary about the craft, its role in society, and areas of interest to membership. Its also strives to bring interesting aspects in the news both from within the fraternity and without so as to create a working space for Mason though leaders, active lodges, and interested members to discover the information.
Freemason Information also exists to broaden the understanding of non Masons who have an interest in the fraternity. While each Grand Lodge should speak to Freemasonry in its individual state, this site can offer a broad overview to the organization and its many components.
This site is a freely available archive of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics. Texts are presented in English translation and, where possible, in the original language.
This site has no particular agenda other than promoting religious tolerance and scholarship. Views expressed at this site are solely those of specific authors, and are not endorsed by sacred-texts. Sacred-texts is not sponsored by any religious group or organzation.
The Henry Wilson Coil Library & Museum of Freemasonry is named after noted Masonic author and Brother Henry Wilson Coil.
The author of eight books, Coil’s most notable work is Coil’s Masonic Encyclopedia (1961, revised in 1996), the last well-known Masonic encyclopedia published by an American author.
Founded in 1996 with a generous contribution from Henry Wilson Coil, Jr., the library and museum collections and archives cover centuries of Masonic history as well as more than 150 years of Freemasonry in California.

The MLMA was founded in 1995 by a group of Masonic librarians and museum directors to share their common experiences, interests and ideas. MLMA is an international organization of members who are Masonic library and museum professionals and volunteers, sharing a love of Masonic materials, research, libraries, and museums.
The mission of the Masonic Library and Museum Association is to assist and support, through education, facilitation of communication, coordination of effort, and other means, those individuals charged with the collection, management, and preservation of the Masonic heritage.
We maintain this website to keep its members informed on topics of interest pertaining to the administration and enhancement of libraries and museums. The site also serves as a membership directory, and as a reference for the study of Freemasonry.
